Is VRSF still having fitment issues on their DPs? I am about to pull the trigger on a DP and I am between the VRSF and Wagner.

Thanks.
Checking back to see if you have had any luck? I have a 2015 328xi and am thinking about installing a catless as well. I'm in Illinois so I would have to change it back every two years and was wondering how big of a pain it would be.

I was beginning to wonder if many people put them on xDrive cars as 99% of every N20 swap you find on the net is on a rwd.
Yes. Did it at Tuning Gruppe and they did a good job but got a CEL right away. Although, I like the pipe overall.

I didn't need one but I suppose it wouldn't hurt just in case.

I’m wanting to do both the dp and cp....which brand did you have fitment issues with. I don’t want to run into this problem.

eBay downpipe, if I were to get one get a legit one from a reputable company. Fitment was just slightly off on mine which messed everything up

Both great picks. I went with ER personally. Fit quite well.

I installed my catless downpipe this weekend, I was fortunate to have a 2 post lift and all the tools necessary. It took about an hour... make sure you have all new gaskets and clamps to prevent exhaust leaks like I am experiencing. Also id recommend a down pipe like ER because it mounts to the transmission so clocking it wrong is nearly impossible. Also it's a job where if you're not 100% confident then just have a shop who know what they are doing install it!!!

You have the VRSF DP, any fitment issues?

Nope, I didn't experience any fitment issues when installing. Just make sure the pipe is flush with the turbo and the mid pipe before tightening. Also, make sure when you resecure the midpipe hangar to make sure there is no metal on metal contact. I had to, unfortunately, uninstall my downpipe due to warranty, but I will reinstall it soon on jack stands lmao wish me luck.

Just clocked 4 hours doing it myself on jackstands. 1 1/2 hr of that time was spent mangling the damn dp clamp to midpipe, only to find a little trick that would have saved me an hour…. Also, one of those hours was spent adjusting the exhaust as the oem dp i put back on is about 1/2” longer than the no name dp had that i took of. (I think its circuit werx). I totally see this being under two hours if everything goes as planned.

You have to grind the circuit werks flange down slightly as it's a extremely tight fit otherwise. Also expand the mid pipe. It's a PITA but if you don't go eBay special (pipe is pipe and that's what she said) you won't have to make those changes
