I just received a letter in the mail regarding the N20 timing chain issue from the class action lawsuit.

I haven't received a letter but Im in the middle of trying to find a shop to replace the timing chain on my '12 f30 as we speak... how can I be sure Im included??

You have to have had it replaced under 80k miles if I remember correctly. If that's so I can scan and send you my form as it's numbered but not assigned to my vin. I have 125k miles and that's long past.

You have to have had it replaced under 80k miles if I remember correctly. If that's so I can scan and send you my form as it's numbered but not assigned to my vin. I have 125k miles and that's long past.

Im at 81k miles :/ i read somewhere that they would reimburse like 55% if it was done within a year of the settlement date though, I just haven't gotten any letters about it.

I received this as well. Does this also cover replacement of the timing chain as preventative or only if symptoms are present?

You should be covered since you are under 100k miles.
