That is an interesting point and I'd add Porsche into that mix with the Carrera 4.
I'm sure if other manufacturers could manage it, then the m division could come up with a decent 4wd/ AWD set up if they put their minds to it.
Perhaps it comes down to cost vs perceived demand.
