Has anyone dynoed with bm3 ???

I’m thinking of getting bootmod3. I did a search but I can’t find any dyno’s for the n20/26. Is there anyone who’s gotten one done ??

There are some on YouTube but it depends on the rest of your upgrades, downpipe, intake, exhaust, stage 1 or stage 2.....here's Thic F30's. He's FBO stage 2 for this video.

I don't understand why you'd do all three pulls flashed. I paid $150 for three pulls and I did the first one stock and the last two flashed.
Gotta see what you gained, else what's the point?

If you look on BM3, they'll give you an approximation on what HP and TQ gains to expect. https://www.protuningfreaks.com/coll...428i-520i-528i

Tbh I thought people were getting over 300whp with A bm3 Stage 2 tune and full bolt one’s. I made 263whp and 297wtq on a Mustang awd dyno that reads 11-14% less than the dynojet they used in that video. With just a bms Jb+, eBay test pipe and a 3401 exhaust.

I know you're asking about BM3, but you should be above 250whp forsure. I got 245whp with just a JB+ , no other mods. B46 330i

Thanks for the link, I’m a little confused though. It’s 230whp and 385wtq ??

It's already sort of pointless, I mean the numbers are only useful compared to other runs on the same dyno. If you're not actively tuning there's not much point except to satisfy your own curiosity.

any more bm3 dyno's for the n20 ?? I plan on building my engine and want to see what would be the most direct and cost effective way to get the most power. For me and the f30 n20/26 community

N20 FBO is around 300whp. This is the manual version however.

Catless downpipe
Intercooler
Charge pipe and turbo to intercooler pipe
Turbo inlet pipe
Intake
Go fast bits diverter valve upgrade
93 octane fuel

Maybe a little more running a e30 octane e85 blend.

I want to dyno the car but I've been lazy.

Downpipe + intercooler + e30 blend tune. 6MT.

This is before JB4 got conservative. All stock only e85 tune

Thanks for the info !! I'm going to get a jb4 for port injection. Everyone raves about bm3 I just wanted to see the dyno's people have done, to see their gains in power/torque

Because dyno places were hard to come by, I did some 0-100 km/h runs to compare stock, JB+, and bootmod3.

Head on over to https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1733837 for times.

You can easily shave off around 0.4 s from the factory specified 0-100 km/h time of 5.8 s with the bootmod3 Stage 1 91 Octane OTS tune.

I've got the B48, but it should be similar for the N20 as well.

Check out the protuningfreaks link given above. They have a couple of dyno graphs with 91 octane on that page.

Didn't know they have port injection for the n2X's out, could you send me a link?

Here is the dyno result for BM3 OTS Stage2 91 with best fuel (not race gas) in Taiwan, temp : 36 Degree C.
Both car almost share the same mods : HJS 200 Cells DP / WT Competition FMIC / stock midpipe / Eisgnmenn Race muffler / NGK No.97506 (Gapped 0.02") / Japan High Spark Ignition Coil / ST-XA suspension

The only difference are :
Red line car - 20" BBS forged wheel / Eventuri intake kit
Blue line car - 19" RAYS forged wheel / K&N drop-in air filter

Conclusion : with the same map on 320i N20, both car shares extremely similar dyno result : around 250WHP / 400Nm

There isn't one that I'm aware of, I'll just do a custom one. It would be based off of the n55 PI, I plan on buying the intake manifold gaskets for the n55, and n20 to compare if they have the same pattern/fit. If they do, then I'll just get the n55 port injection kit and have a machine shop cut the rails and the metal spacer with injectors down from 6 to 4.

So the spacing between the intake holes is the same between the 6cyl and 4?
