Hey everyone,

I'm back in an F31!

After previously owning a 2014 Estoril Blue F31 328d and an EB2 F80 M3(both sold), I recently sold my Tesla Model Y to take advantage of the market and picked up a 2017 Estoril Blue F31 330i M Sport from the East Coast. It had 194k miles but was advertised as rust-free and in great shape. While the overall condition is decent for the mileage, it arrived with some rusted suspension components and a number of issues I’ve since started addressing. Overall, still very excited to be back in a F31 and drive this thing a lot more without worrying about it's value, and YES I love Estoril Blue!

Just a quick update

OEM Red Push Start Button
Had this leftover from my F80 build, always loved the white illumination on this.. and of course the fact that the red button is OEM and not eBay.


Key Emblem Replacement
Not sure why the key's emblem is so messed up, but I had an older key laying around after I did a digital key conversion.


NBT Evo ID6 Upgrade
Can't believe the car came with HK and no Navi. CarPlay with NBT Evo ID6 interface is a must, thanks to steve@codemybimmer for setting me up with everything!

Do you still have the Mag Blue TE37s? I just picked up a Sunset Orange F31 wagon and those are my dream wheels ever since I owned my first Honda Civic! LMK if you ever want to sell them!

I don't, there are probably a few sets in the used market since it's a popular Civic Type R Size.

Update #2

Gloss Black M Performance Grilles
A must do mod for myself personally, it matches the gloss black trim of M-Sports/M3's perfectly, so naturally I had to get it. Done this swap a few times on my past F31 and F80, pro-type is using these loose Allen tools to get release the tabs on the bottom side.



OEM Mirror Replacement
My passenger side mirror didn't fold, looks like it was damaged before in an accident so I decided to buy a pair of used M-Sport mirrors (gloss black trim instead of flat black) and swap them out. Found some build up in the mirror due to this being an east-coast car.. glad I decided to swap out the mirror.



Headlight Vertical Aim Sensor Replacement
Was getting the "Headlight vertical aim control" malfunction and figured the headlight ride height level sensor needed replacement. Turns out the old sensor was faulty! Probably because of... this being an east-coast car.




Gas Tank Cover Replacement
Got the P0456 error and figure I'd try this fix first.. bad news, it didn't fix it. Will try the leak detection pump replacement down the line.
