We'd like to welcome EAS (European Auto Source) to the bootmod3 dealer program. They've been great to work with and their in-house Dynojet 224 xLC is available for those of you looking to get dynoed or custom tuned. This M2 was there recently and made 509whp/510wtq on E85 at just 18.5psi with a Pure Stage 2 turbo on it and secondary port fuel injection via the AIC fuel controller:

Sounds good. I really only have one option and even that is 5hrs away. Bootmod3 seems worlds better than jb4. If i never run meth, is there even a reason to keep my jb4? It seems my unit may become somewhat valuable because i didnt update firmware and lose the code clearing capabilities.

Flash tune deals with code only better.
JB4 exists for a lot of reasons. 1) superior boost control capability (not restricted by DME load target), 2) meth/PI integration 3) easier data log via BT and map switch on the fly. Just to name a few.

Just got a quote for $400 to just to the DME unlock at the closest shop. Seems ridiculously high seeing that some members can get the DME out in 20 minutes. The mail in unlock is $150 at the same place. So $250 of labor to remove it...

$400 is exactly what I'm paying tomorrow. It's up to you what it's worth. For me, I don't have a lot of time since I travel for work. I'll have BM3 installed in the morning and be ripping around the streets by the afternoon. If you have time to have your car ripped apart waiting to mail your DME and for it to return, do that. To me, it's worth the extra $300 to have it done immediately. It's the difference of driving my car tomorrow, or waiting another 5 weeks until I get home again.... I chose tomorrow.
