Well you were wrong about the World Ending... how about that NAV in the 5 series that will make its way into the 3. In theory if they run out of old Nav, you have your new nav nice and early! Again, world ending isn't a go, how about that new NAV!

They're not going to "run out" of the old Nav, because they have to use it for 2+ years in current cars like the E89/E70/E71/E84/E82/E88. Besides, I only have to wait 28 more days for the new Nav, as I pick up my ActiveHybrid 3 next month |

My dealer actually heard from their BMW rep that the reason/excuse has to do with legal issues in US. Horse manure. The AH3, F10 and F07 have it NOW. Its marketing nonsense and BMWNA wants something for the MY14 upgrade sheet to make the new F30 MY more compelling to buyers. Or, could have something to do with BMW US Manufacturing not getting the new Nav for any of their models for MY13 (and from what I understand MY14) Maybe the F07 and F10 gets the new touch controller for MY14 and the F30 gets the new Nav w/o the touch controller. Just to keep the F07 and F10 more upscale. A guess. |

if you go to bmw site and click on build and select nav you should be able to see
(Navigation system with iDrive and Real Time Traffic Information - convenient functions at your fingertips. The highly detailed maps now offer a variety of views to help make finding your route even easier. If you want more than the 2-D view, select a night view, a height mode, or even 3-D perspective. You can also add verbal or written instructions. Take advantage of the travel planner, for any trip requiring multiple stop-off points. Up to 30 different locations can be programmed along the same route. By switching from a DVD-based system to a quicker, hard drive-based system, BMW also increased the operation speed )maybe the hardware is update but not the software I hope im right lol |

BMWNA also changed the screenshot image when you view the Interior dash shot to show the new Nav on all F30's. They did that beginning November 2012. However no new Nav actually in the car. Lawsuit? Probably not, just amounts to stupidity on their part. |

Very stupid to make the american market to wait a whole year from BMWNA, it's like selling a car, complete with 4iPhone, when all competitors are selling cars with 5-th ))) |

Played around with the new nav and there isn't much different to the old one. Everything is animated which can get annoying pretty quickly. In fact I prefer the old design. Don't stress guys. The old idrive is still brilliant.

The new traffic is NIGHT AND DAY for me with the Bay Area compared to the old one. I get traffic overlays for literally every city street around work while the old system only tended to show highways and very major roads.

Took delivery today? How is NBT? BTW, they could release MY14 vehicles in March.
