I've used them a few times (Nottingham Branch) and always had a very good service, seem to remember the price was about £370 but that was about two years ago, wouldn't hesitate to use them again, at least at the Nottingham branch...

Steve, yes I've used TWS in St Albans several times. They powder coated my 403M wheels for £100 each - remove tyres, acid strip, repair rim damage is included (but mine have never needed it), powder coating, lacquer, refit tyres.
Given that there's no lathing required for powder coated finish, i.e. unlike a DC wheel, I think that £100 per wheel is top money. I'd look to pay less if there's a next time. It'll be franchisee-dependent, but I noticed that two of the wheels had a slightly different surface texture to the powder coat. TWS did them again FOC. Powder coating is the way to go. I'll not have DC wheels out of choice again - just not worth the hassle.

Went down to the Ellesmere Port branch today - seemed pretty knowledgeable and had a tour round inside to see some wheels being done.
My 437m wheels are the black/silver version and they also do a grey/silver diamond cut version as well ( not that much difference in the diamond cut/not diamond cut colour - had a look at my friends M3 last night who has this variant as well ). So going for a powdercoat silver option - it will be different to what I have now but should look fairly OEM in terms of the silver 437m wheels. Booked in for two weeks time!!

I used TWS in Leeds last year to powder coat my 442M's. There are cheaper places to go that's for sure but they did offer good service and I'm pleased with the results.
4x19" rims cost me in the region £370 (guaranteed for 12 months). The diamond cut option was about £100 more (6 month guarantee which says a lot about the durability of a diamond cut refurb). |

Nephew just had his front wheel refurbished by this company, better than factory IMO.

Hope it goes well and looking forward to some pics. You're my Guinee pig for getting mine done there later this year

@onstat really good job I'm pleased with them. Gone from black/grey DC to silver but the 437m rim is also available in a silver DC finish so look OEMish.
Will ceramic coat them over the weekend and fit those missing M badges!

Thanks put some ceramic coating (C5) on last night, dressed the tyres ( recently replaced 4S ) and applied the M badges - looks really good now in the sun!
