Downpipe Install N20 not fitting.

Hey guys, I recently just got this ARM catless downpipe for the n20. What I have noticed is that the downpipe on the exhaust side i think is what you call it ? isn’t flat, there’s a v band clamp there as well. The problem is my downpipe is flat and doesn’t need the v band clamp on that side. I’ve watched other videos where others cars have a flat round pipe coming down from the exhaust side but mine has the band clamp bump so i wouldn’t be able to fit it. Any help would be great. Thanks !

You need a downpipe for a N26.

That’s weird because my car says n20 all around it in the engine bay 😭 do you have any ideas what could be the reason it looks like that on an n20?

These cars the exhaust systems are the same for f30 n20/n26 minus the flange for the midpipe. So someone might have stuck a n26 stock exhaust system on the car before selling it. Thats it.

I don't seen an N26 downpipe on ARM's site. I would ask if they have one. Or return it and then purchase a proper one, if you had bought it new.

If not, you'll have to take it to an exhaust shop to modify the connection on both the DP and mid pipe. Or get a full exhaust from an N20 car.
