MHD looks promising. I’m going to give it a try when I get back from this business trip. |

no, not all tuners flash by BM3, most of them flash by MHD, look at all n54 owners with big single 99% of them flashed by MHD at least it works well with jb4 and supported by Terry

The current advantage with BM3 right now is their table editor and tuners list, you can request anyone in their list, depending on your mods or preference or if you're brave enough, make your own tune with their editor.

It's a fact MHD was the only popular platform back in E days when even PTF tuned through MHD, which is again my point - platform is irrelevant, what matters is tuner and map.
It's also true not all tuners are comfortable with the way BM3 is, uploading their files to a central cloud server, risking file being stolen or something. But reality is the people in the whole industry are stealing from one another. Nobody should care too much about their file, they'll be eventually all the same given enough time. I'm in no way married to BM3 despite of the fact they custom tuned my car. I can see MHD just showed its huge potential of going back onto top like they were in old days. But at the end, what most of us, as end users, care about most is whoever is most skilled and take time fine tuning and making your map.

Yeah that’s good an fine with the tuner list, but when your “My Maps” page is filled with requests to tuners for a tune, you’ve sent emails, and messages and no one is willing to do a tune for you, it’s pretty cool. I’m going to try out the MHD thing. Shit, for $300, why not? I’ve been hearing some pretty promising things such as bigger numbers and no falling off top end compared to BM3. Can’t speak for the drivability, but there are a bunch of these cars in the wild now. |

I've never had a problem with asking for tuning, I've easily sent logs back and forth with PTF and they completed it for me. They also told me to tell them in advance when I want a custom tune as they're booked solid with other people's custom tune as well. Also, MHD is more than 300$ **MHD Flasher N55:** Flasher license: 249$ Monitor license: 99$ Map packs: 99$ each Custom tuning is extra (probably the same price as BM3) You're essentially paying an extra 50$ for an OTS map provided by MHD instead. If you're going to go ahead and get MHD, do a BM3 OTS dyno vs MHD pls

I’ll go back to the same Dyno I previously used to compare BM3 to MHD for sure. |

Although I'm not one of them, we should be clear here... bm3 is a platform which provides either an end user the ability to store and/or flash OTS/Custom Maps (amongst numerous other things) and Tuner Network to work directly with multiple tuners (I personally have not had any issues making contact). The map was the issue...not bm3 or act of flashing I get what you're referring to...but, people new to this process or platform will not. .. 👍 🍻 .

Who can tune the trans? MHD or Bootmod3? Also how much are they upping the line pressure?

I am wondering which BW turbo does the f30 335i come with stock?Out of curiosity I would ditch the restrictive stock turbomani ,get the Speed tech exh mani, purchase a BW T4 TS Exh turbine housing for the existing stock BW CHRA and compressor housing and bolt her on. Perhaps would be cheaper and looks like the mani is the big bottle neck. Also wondering if the M3/4 manifolds have this bottleneck. Just my thoughts.

Hi everyone! I was waiting this moment since I got my X5. And now I'm happy to announce you all my MNSTR car coming to life. It's going to be the fastest BMW X5 N55 E70 in the world. Me and my crew are expecting to hit 700+hp. All the details, dyno results, more photo and video, will be posted very very soon. Stay tuned.

Can you provide some more information on your setup/tune? How much boost were you running? What fuel? What tuning solution? Do you have any logs of your car you could please share? Just curious as to the boost and AFR people are running. A lot of tunes I see are very lean and I am wondering if that contributes to turbo failure.
