I have the sound bug of the GPS which explodes the ears now

I did not touch anything more or less, but the sound / volume is unbearable and dangerous when one is surprised and the unit HU ANDROID involuntarily returns to OEM BMW!

Have you tried the Sound Restorer? That should take care of this.

What is your field of expertise if I may ask?

Frankly30 is implementing an interception of MCU communication between car and Android and bypassing centerservice.apk. He will have a list of available MCU events that can be redirected to user selected actions.

.NET It's some kind of magic for me, thanks for the explanation. In general, this looks amazing! I've connected Android BT with OEM BT. So the sound is transmitted by BT and the quality is much much better and I can see the current track on HUD. The problem is that I want to control music by OEM menu and Android is intercepting every touch of the steering wheel.

I have an issue that comes up rarely , but it would be nice to disappear. My car is X1 F48 auto gear and my Android is a 625 SD unit.

When I use a web radio streaming app in Android , randomly (and rarely) the built in music player starts by its own !!!

Hi guys, just saw the newest ads for these HU on the ali and saw they mention split screen capabilities.

May I know how to activate the split screen mode? I'm using the Snapdragon 625

And where to access the bluetooth menu? Under the connection there is only option about the wi-fi and mobile network, no bluetooth option. I just want to turn it off, cause annoyingly whenever I turn on the car, the first menu is always the bluetooth pairing screen.

when you say you connected the android Bluetooth to the OEM Bluetooth, did mean the android head unit or a phone? I have been trying to stream music from my phone to the HU but with no success. If you managed it, do you mind sharing the how to please.

I've connected the Android head unit to the BMW head unit. So I have Spotify opened on Android and sound is transmitted through BT (not AUX).

How can a wireless transmission over Bluetooth have better audio quality than wired AUX? Common knowledge is that this is not the case (read link). Unless there is something wrong with your AUX connection.

"The analog signal is piped directly through the cable and into your BMW with all its detail intact, guaranteeing decent audio quality. If you had "terrible" sound over AUX then your connection with Android HU was wrong or there's some issue with your OEM AUX.

I installed dozens of these devices, sound was crystal clear in all cases without any noise. Some ppl said sound became even better than oem which is too optimistic I believe.

Obviously AUX output cannot be better than oem digital, sound range and frequencies are better with the latter case, that's why ppl use USB DAC to obtain better sound from Android HU.
