Thanks,

It's an individual color called Fashion Grey. Quite a cool color as it looks different depending on ambient light. Pictures don't do it justice either as it is way nicer in person than in pic's.

This car has the exact same issue that my E90 has; even if 11 years apart from both.

The door window freezes in winter. There's just no way of opening it if the car is cold (It was minus 7 celcius this morning; nothing extreme). And when its that cold, it cracks from everywhere...

I'm almost scared to imagine what it'll be like when we hit -30 / -35 this winter...

Busted my windshield last night but it wasnt really the car's fault (Received a wrench nut left over a truck's bed right in the glass) Oh and one of my speakers just popped this morning while listening radio to a moderate volume. Nice. I always thought HK was good quality.

My 340 bubble is deflating big time today :/

I know it's been mentioned before but I'd like to reiterate my disdain for the softness of OEM BMW windshields.

Volume button / audio control is on the right side.. pointless as the volume dial on the radio is only inches away

I just don't like how when using the steering wheel to change the radio station on FM it states the radio station's callsigns instead of the number. Like i have no idea what the hell the stations callsign is but if it had the number i'd know. Is there a way to change this?

I hate the individual leather, crap compared to the 2003 Mercedes I had.

It will only get worse. I heard someone traded a perfectly good 335i M Perf for the 340i M Perf because rattling drove him bonkers and a sales guy told him they fixed the rattles in the LCI. LMAO, he lost 15 k and has rattles new. BMW guarentees 10k against rattles. To their defense, we rented a dozen Mercedes in Europe for 6 months, 0 kms, they all started rattling. Seems a problem for the industry.

if you want no rattles, Rolls and Bentley, all leather on leather, do not rattle.

I reduced my rattles by 80% using forum DIY, problem are doors and will open them soon. Luckily, we do not get the rooftop panel rattle as the X3 does, that is very expensive to fix.

My trunk spontaneously opens when I'm spray washing the area at the rear license plate.

Compared to my E46, F32 brakes and steering feel like they're off of a Honda.

1) Xdrive (4x4) suspension. (Fixed by fitting B14s)
2) The engine sounds like a diesel.

It's stunning how many rock chips my windshield has at 65k. There is not a single square inch free of at least one nasty one. Insurance said they would replace it since it negativity affects visibility in many conditions. There is a lot of road debris here in the Northeast, but my old e36 was on its original windshield at 150k with less than half the chips of my F30.

My solution has been to purchase some rubber/molding protectant that helps keep it looking black and prevents water spotting. I just didn't think I'd have to buy something like that for a car that's not even two years old.

Other than that everything else seems good except the dependability of ConnectedDrive. It seems at least once a week I get a "no connection" screen on it.
Agreed and same for me...good points here. About to call them and ask for my 50 bucks back for the year of BMW live over it too.

I've been told on here and by the local BMW dealership mech that it's normal, but when it rains or I wash my car water comes out the door brake openings and sits on the brake itself. Hate that...

For my F32 coupe my passengers door mechanism isn't on par with the driver side. It was unbearable at first, but after 5 visits to the bodyshop it is now 80% as good as the driver's door.

I wish the stick shift was heated...I tend to rest my right hand there rather than the steering wheel

You shouldn't rest your hand there. It wears out the shift collars.

Why are the window switches on the driver's door instead of the center console? My passenger can't even open or close the back windows for the dogs, but must bother me to do it.
I don't need that distraction while driving!!

If they were on the center console you'd have people complaining that their kid riding in the passenger seat likes to play with the buttons for the rear windows.

Rattles emanating from the general dashboard vicinity. They tend to start after 10K miles.

To be fair, my 2017 440i GC has appreciably fewer rattles than previous 2013 335i.

Put the "defeat" button on the door.
