To answer your question the benefit is that you can run much more timing on full E85.

More timing and less boost = More boost and less timing. Just two different ways to increase power. If I'm not mistaken. Anything past E50 has diminishing returns in terms of performance when blending E85. |

After reading all these feedbacks and comments seems like very huge hassle to run full e85 lol
I'll rather just occasionally run 2 or 3 gallons of e85 When ever I don't run e85 Bm3 stayed my timing was all over the place and that gas quality is horrible here in cali so idk

E85 map is not used to be a "performance" map, I don't think it's very usefull for US, maybe more in europe.
In France a SP98 refuel cost $108, E85 refuel cost $43... For me, that why I wanted E85. I know HPFP is a huge limitation to run E85 with a nice boost, but I'm using it for daily driving so even if I use like 30% more fuel with E85, money saving my friends. Don't use full E85 map for performances, that's not the goal. |

I had a question that is E85 related, and since this seems to be the most current thread on the topic, figured I'd do a little threadjacking. My apologies in advance.
I have a flash tune with stage 2 maps for both 91aki and E30. Pretty much every time I remap from E30 back to 91, my car will stumble a bit on initial startup/idle. ALMOST to the point of stalling out, and it think it has actually stalled once before. This usually goes away after subsequent fills of 91. Any ideas on why this happens? Is it normal? Anyone else have similar experiences?

I'm going to stick my hand up and admit I did not know the n55 could run full e85 with the stock hpfp even with a 450 walbro lpfp. Is this true?

Bump - did you ever do this? I am looking for some logs of people running MHD's full e85 map for N55 EWG.
This is what MHD posted back in June 2019 in the MHD thread. Namely, "And they are the most powerful Stage 1 and 2 maps" Quote:

Plus in there statement it doesn't reference these maps being "more powerful" compared anything so it's kind of vague. |

I have read on other threads from users exactly what you stated - the full e85 maps are ran for fuel price/availability reasons, not maximum performance. But this seems to directly contradict what MHD posted. I am interested to see some full e85 stage 1 logs, would really like to compare to my stage 1 91oct logs. |

It's more related to fuel price (in Europe => France) I'm using stg1 at this time, I can do some logs if you want. stg2 is too hard for HPFP, I have some pressure drop and power loss. I think I need to install HDP6 to handle it fine. |
