And once you add the recommended Microfilter it's $1548

It’s $700-800u.s cheaper than XDI’s price before they discounted several months ago. XDI was taking advantage of “first to market”

So correct me if I'm wrong but you need a custom tune to run this pump, correct?

Not necessarily, just as XDI...., MHD and bm3 will have calibration file for pump to run. Good idea to opt for a custom tune to properly "dial it in" along with boost, timing, AFR's...under load

I hate the red color on the case. I like everything to be stealth rather than obvious. Especially if you were someone with a warranty still.

The spool pump will out pump the xdi35 pump by 15% . So as well as being cheaper it also pumps more.

Dorch Engineering is coming out soon with their HPFP. They have released the first batch for B58 and waiting on the final beta for N55's. They will have a stage 1 and 2... however I have not seen a price yet.

That's pretty damn good considering the Bosch HDP6 (B58TU) is $1300 new. I just contacted a local salvage yard that sells used car parts to see if they have any BMWs or MINIs that use the HDP6 (BMW 13518631642) in their yard. I may go pull the part myself if I can get it on the cheap.

if you pulled this list from realoem, you'll realize that when you dive deeper, most of those cars are for EUR version, not USA version.

Just got my evo6 pump down here in Brazil. Starting modification tomorrow. Is it enough upgrade for fueling for a PS2 upgrade?

The dorch pump is available for B58 now, and the N55 shows available on Feb 4th, for $1k! Normal price $1200.

Not sure if the 1k pricetag is for preorder? or just temp sale.

Sorry, but I'm gonna have to say, it takes either a ton of arrogance, or poor sales technique, to release a brand new product (esp. something as critical as the HPFP on an expensive engine) to the market with:
  • No pictures of the actual part (a box is shown on their site) for both the currently released B58 pump & the upcoming N55 release
  • No 3rd party independent Flow Charts of the pump with pressure/volume vs. RPM to backup their claims
  • No dyno charts showing pump in action
  • No PDF of Install instructions to realize install difficulty & the claims of '100% PnP'

Even if the company is accredited for quality versions for other cars - this is a totally new product, with no real time history in real use...

This is even more important when said company is asking $$ ahead of time of actual release. I would much rather (& gladly) pay the xtra $200 - months, or 1 yr later, once it has had reviews, more real life data/experience available, & a chance to fix any bugs that arise.

It may turn out to be a great high quality/reliable part, but I'm not gambling my expensive engine for a crummy 200 bucks

I mean REALLY - not even a picture WTF????
