499€ after Exchange rate of $1.13 USD (and PayPal even higher Gouging on Exchange Rates) worked out to about $570 USD and just under $90 to ship. So I am in $650. I did purchase the cable BMW/61122410220 for $50USD about a month or two ago with some other stuff when I was thinking of doing regular LCI/LED Taillight conversion. I'd be happy to sell that or you can easily make your own via instructions on several threads. If you search by part number, they are on eBay for $50 up as well. As I stated, I am in middle of interior mod so I can get another before I need to install mine. Just a heads up, most who convert to LCI/LED from pre LCI/LED also replace the drip tray trim due to a slightly different shape of LCI Taillights (see below for pic of new LCI taillights in old Pre-LCI drip trays). You cannot see it when closed, but at roughly $25 per side, it's easier for the OCD to just replace them. Part numbers: 51497453333 & 51497453334 Obviously if you have LCI/LED Taillights already, these the drip tray trim and wiring adapters are not needed. Credit to @cazuaLLUK for the photos below. Thanks for posting those, good to see the lights in the flesh on an AW car. Looks better than I thought it would, but still not sure if I want to wait for the Shadow lights instead.

They will not ship out of EU (As can be seen if you complete their order process or email them). They gave me contact at another Company they are close with, but that Company has not responded to any emails since May 29th. Last edited by GCinFLA; 06-16-2017 at 03:11 PM.. |

Ahh, didn't think about the shipping. Still I mean that price sounds pretty reasonable. Definitely thinking about doing this mod. Hopefully the price doesn't go up when it becomes available in the US.

The retrofit cable, Part Number 61122410220, though available for years in Europe, has never been available through normal BMWNA channels in USA. |

Most BMW Parts Departments probably have zero (to 1 set at most) of normal LCI Taillights in stock, knowing they can order from the regional BMW Warehouses for delivery in 1-3 days, depending on the item. You find that true of most discount BMW Parts ordered on the internet. Most EU 3rd Party Retailers also have buried in their ordering it takes 3-5 days for parts (even when they show available). They have no idea if they are really in stock until their source either ships to them or back orders. One of my friends that purchased a set for me ordered from such a site on 5/22 and they stated they were in stock. Obviously, they were not as they did not ship until Jun 12th. As someone pointed out to me in pm, there is someone on eBay selling 2 sets, but the delivery window states June 27 - July 13th. Given what EU Parts Retailers have stated to me in emails, appearently there was a big preorder demand for these. I also wonder how big the initial run was. As thus, it would be interesting for someone who orders to let us know how fast these actually ship from the various places - as one wonders who really has them vs. what their website states about availability. |

Much appreciated...not sure if I like it with EBII. The regular red LED might look better. What do you think?
