JB4 and DP install, now have codes and engine light

So yesterday I installed a JB4 and VRSF DP in my 2013 f30 335i PWG. I got the usual code of "exhaust valve flapper disabled (138104)", "BOV plausibility-ignore, tuner code (122108)", "catless DP detected (180001)" and the one that has me questioning is "Electric fan, self-diagnosis stage 1: Light fan error (1A2108)". If this helps, before I did any mods I occasionally got a drivetrain malfunction while going on on ramp kinda hot, twice I recall. I have the MPPK, 58k miles, oil just changed days ago at Porsche dealer. So today as I was driving home the check engine light came on. So my question is, is there something wrong or is it just usual codes that come up with JB4 I need to clear?

I have the same car as you and mods and have gotten a DT malfunction before, but have never seen that fan code. You have two variables that you have added--I always add one mod at a time to keep variables down.

Try to look up that code--it could be nothing or a glitch. I've gotten lots of carious codes since having the car and attributed most of them to glitchy events.

I had these same codes 15k miles ago about a month after adding the JB4 and VRSF downpipe. They eventually went away and the car has been running great since. It was still running great during those codes.
I have a 2015 335i with the DT (blue tooth) JB4 add on.

Yes, I have BT, been in contact with Burgertuning. Wiring is good. Going to try and and uninstall and check/clear codes then. Oddly today, when driving, the drivetrain malfunction light was not on but still showed limp mode on jb4 app

Brought up the BT thing because there have been threads recently where people got those short circuit codes because the BT red wire was not connected to the correct power red wire. I don't have BT, but apparently it can be confusing as to which power wire is correct.

Also...two things

1. You are disconnecting the battery....right?

2. No part of your "Mod" list states you have a Charge Pipe (CP). Search "Charge Pipe Failure" in this form if you're still running stock CP. Your DT Malfunction under hard acceleration could've been your CP wanting to "blow off" at the throttle body connection

Just my .02

+1

If the BT install is not done properly it can cause weird issues..

You did not install the BT positap in the correct wire. I had the same exact issues where the power was connected to the wrong wire. Once you install properly the short circuits codes will all go away.

and your catless dp code will keep coming back since jb4 passive code delete feature is gone.

Thanks everyone for responses. I have limited internet where I'm at so its hard to respond

Yes, battery was unplugged during install

Stock CP right now, I have VRSF CP that I'm planning to install this weekend along with GFB DV upgrade

I believe the blue BT wire was connected to wrong red wire. So I switched it so I can see how it reacts later. Be nice if they had a clear picture on correct red wire in instructions
