i'm still waiting for access to the laser cutter to cut the additional 8 sets (the friend who was going to provide me access to his laser has not responded to me).

But i do have a left over set from my original acrylic that i can work on. The local friend i promised this set to decided to get his lights directly from china on his next business trip, so it frees it up for someone else now. PM me if still interested. I think i've settled on fair pricing taking into account 1) going prices 2) that i don't really wanna do this work (haha) and need to make it worth my time and 3) want to still help out community.

But just to let you know, if you are only interested in the rings themselves (hoping thats the case), i'm going to price them commensurately with what i'm seeing is the next best thing i can find:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BavGruppe-LC...207521?vxp=mtr

which is substantially a lot less complex than what i'm doing with the extra extensions and extra LEDs and extra circuitry. Again, PM me and i can send you the info.

EDIT: I've been getting a bunch of queries from people outside of the US. I've looked into it a little bit, and its too much risk to work on F30 halogens that have adaptive headlights and people with RHD lights. I don't have the experience with them and it's just better i don't go there. Sorry about that, but its just more hassle than i have time to deal with right now.

squidlyboy can you list the necessary parts required to do this for the DIY enthusiasts pls ?
i am starting to source all the necessary parts now. Can you suggest me where i can get LED to place for behind the Acryl rings ? (Quality Ones i guess)
thanks in advance.

Finally i found Innovited on Ebay shipping to Germany.
But i am confused which type of Bulb size i choose. can you suggest me the one for my 320d 2015 Halogen headlight model ?
here are the 2 links on ebay..

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Innovited-AC...9XWC-5&vxp=mtr

or

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Innovited-AC...item802ea4c2f7

As for the Bixenon projector Lens is concerned, i am not finding a good reseller who ships to Germany on Ebay, Amazon or any other Website... i dont find it locally here also...

Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

OP the headlights work great, any thoughts about making matching light output LEDs instead of of what you're using on your bumper? Just my opinion but those seem to not fit the scheme.

Try to avoid thread contamination by cross-posting to the wrong thread. i responded in the "DIY Morimoto" thread.

Yah, i agree. Was thinking of taking them off for awhile now. The DRL LEDs were put on whay back when i still had halogens and i never bothered to take them off, but it clashes now. Getting kinda lazy now that the 100 degree summer heat has arrived

Just read this thread, I'm from Ireland and I'm gutted you won't be doing a RHD set of these as they look fantastic, I definitely would have been interested in a set.

Hi Squidly

Saw your previous threads about headlights.
Is this the result of all your hardwork or did somebody finished it for you?

Anyway, looks great man. Not sure about the extra lights though, looks korean, but that's just me.

Looks nice.. lots of hard work went into this.

However, I prefer the ossdesigns 6K Icons design.

I'll have mine back next week.... they also ship worldwide.

The amount of customization Luis will do is insane, he can pretty much do anything you want.

Sorry I am late to the party, but I am about to pull the trigger on one of two 2013 F30. One has Xenon lights the other I am looking at has Halogen. Your original lights are halogen and you are adding projectors and the LED ring to the Halogen housing? Depending if you make them and cost, that could change which car I purchase...thanks and they look awesome!

For the guy who asked about the FEM, i don't touch the FEM at all. In fact, none of the wiring i did messes with any of the OEM wiring. I don't touch OEM wiring in the car _at all_. All the magic happens inside of the new headlight housings, so a simple swap of the stock F30 halogens returns the car to OEM.

The power for the lights come directly from the battery post under the hood that goes to a relay (inside the headlights), then the low-beam signal from the car activates the relays, delivering power to the lights from the direct connection. This is the way i did my original quad bi-x lights and I've had that running perfectly any warnings, errors, or issues for about a year now.

I probably need to apologize if i set the expectation that i'm going to start cranking these suckers out production line style. That's not gonna happen I'm not a vendor. Just a BMW enthusiast like all of you who likes to do cool things with their car. I primarily did this for myself because i wanted to see if it could be done, and if i could do as good of a job as blueaudi18's amazing original Concept 4's. He was a real pioneer and way ahead of his time. But for me, its just a hobby.

Anyways, i don't want people waiting around if they are in a rush to get some aftermarket lights to replace their F30 halogens. I would go out and get the OnEightyNY LEDs or the Umnitza ones or any number of really cool lights that are starting to proliferate out there. There are a bunch of really nice ones that will make your car look amazingly better than stock halogens.

With that said, i purchased enough acrylic to make 8 more sets that i hope to get cut in June as i get access to the laser cutter. So for those who are in no rush, i'll let you know when i get that done...
How is the pricing of the laser cutting compared to CNC machining?
