I dropped my car into 4th gear on the highway today and immediately lost tons of power. Does this mean I blew my chargepipe?

Do you have access to a code scanner by any chance? That's the first logical step.

Does the car still exhibit a loss in power?

As a matter of fact, yes. His car's Goofy.

From that picture, it's not possible to be sure. Maybe the chargepipe just separated, and you could try to reconnect it and see if it works. But it most likely cracked a seam somewhere when it popped off.

Based on post history, it looks like it was on a Stage 2 AA tune. Regardless of what some of the vendors try to say, it's pretty unlikely for a stock car to blow its charge pipe.

Then again, he claimed he already installed an AA charge pipe, so who knows.

Recently did AA tune, VRSF downpipe, AA CP & FMIC. I still have a third party warranty so don't want to get TOO carried away.

I'm stock (2014 N55 w/MPPK.....11 psi max boost). My charge pipe just blew at 80K. I suspect with age and underhood temps the plastic pipe gets brittle. Was replaced under my platinum warranty.
