N20 With E85

Ive been on the fence about going to a full E85 tune, im currently FBO with a VRSF catless downpipe, intercooler, BM3 tune and an Ingen intake. I havent seen many people do E85 on their N20s, would a LPFP be good to run full E85 and can the engine handle it or are there other upgrades needed?

For a full E85 tune on stock turbo all you need is a B58TU HPFP. To fit a B58TU HPFP you also need a low pressure fuel line and if your car is older than 2014 you also need a wiring harness. No need to upgrade the LPFP. Even on upgraded turbos they do fine.

You can get an E85 kit here https://iposmotorsport.com/products/n20-full-e85-kit

Stock LPFP is good for 450whp on full e85. No hybrid turbo on the market can outflow it at the moment outside of a custom setup.

Engine will be fine. Stock n20/n26 turbo maxed out around 31-32 lb/min for air flow, and with multiple sets of data for n20/n26, on the stock turbo MAF readings is pretty close to power at the wheels. 100% stock turbo + all FBO (you are missing a turbo inlet to help a little more) + b58tu HPFP retrofit (doesn’t need a tune for this HPFP), custom tune you are looking 310-320whp on full ethanol.

Fueling setup for this dyno and the bigger turbo:

stock LPFP
B58tu HPFP
S63tu injectors

Do the stock fuel lines handle the E85? I see many kits sending full lines as well? Is it necessary to do this change?

Also awesome build, I've seen it a couple times and love it!

Nonissues with 3+ years of running the fuel setup.

You can’t fit the b58tu HPFP without a custom fuel feed line. This video will show how the factory lines line up and thus a custom line is required.
