i know a few guys who upgraded the same b58 engine with the newer pump without any hassle , dunno why mp had these probs software and hardware ??
ive also asked what they had done to it on the hardware side , but havent got any reply since a few weeks now . since its a bosch pump i did expect the same
as i went with hdp5evo , and it did , fired right up without hickupps no high rail pressures to be seen . it might be capable of higher rates compared to 5evo , but that , at least to me , depends what your tuner has set in the tune .

I'm not sure what MP is talking about either. Isn't the HPFP just maintaining a semi-constant rail pressure to feed the injectors? The HDP6 is able to better maintain a set rail pressure under higher fuel flow rates with the pressure governed by the fuel rail sensor that is all. Is this not correct?

My HDP6 pump arrived yesterday. Wish there was a way to change the clock position of the connector.

i took a piece out of the connector with dremel and some of the plastic of the intake , otherwise way too much stress on the connector .
dont forget in and output are located a few mm's higher compared to oem ,
no problem for fuel feed line , but the HP line needs a smal squeeze and the nut has to see the dremel too , as shown in the pictures .

Overdrive kit is for e9x. Their new HPFP will be PnP replacement for F-Series N55 OE HPFP

for some reason mhd only reads to gear six
