Ticking noise!
I have a 2013 bmw 328i x drive I believe it has lifted tick and was curios on if there was anything I could do to fix this issue? Or if anyone knows how much knowledge and skill it takes to replace them. I considered going to a bmw mechanic but it's about 2 hour drive does anyone know what it would cost to get it fixed?? Any advise would be appreciated
thank you! |

Post a video for us to hear. The N20 is a notoriously loud engine. The fuel injectors being the main source of noise.

You can’t fix what isn’t broken. These engines are notorious to be noisy (unless something drastically changed recently with your engine), even more than same gen. of diesels. It’s a byproduct of the direct injection.
