Has any one switched out there interior trim panels to the M -Preformance kit. There is a BMW (part 51952230351) kit with 7 prices in the kit that is composed of carbon fiber with Alcantere Inlay.
***** YES IT IS A $1000***********

I ordered the brushed Aluminum when the car was ordered, it was the best I had to choose from. You can get the above it port-side but it will cost 50%+ more. I did the port install black grills and could have saved 50% , might see if I can cancel that. Well made kidney grills can be bought for $100

Many options out there...BMW OEM and aftermarket. I am not a fan of the alcantara and textured CF myself.

I am about to order it as my 17 440 x-drive gran coupe should be rolling off assembly line this week. I am gonna buy off of ebay as BMW dealers are selling on there and they are not $1000. roll_the_dice I like blue wrapped interior with EBII exterior looks awesome! I ordered the aluminum hexagon with gloss black trim but I am coral red interior on bsm. I ordered everything m-performance for my interior except steering wheel. How hard is it to remove and wrap the y piece on wheel?

Hi mjordan. Wanted to ask, how did the install go? I'm thinking of the same but am not looking forward to seeing what the dealer will charge to install.

Anyone know what the "RHD" version of this kit is compared to the "LHD" version?

I saw instructions online and it did not look to difficult. Most of it snaps off but you have to be careful and take it slow. My car is on it's way to dealer and I should take delivery on Wednesday. Already have window tint apt for Friday so trim will be sometime in the next couple of month. Will post pictures when I get it done.

There are a few tutorial videos (I believe) on removing the trim if you google it. It is easy to remove. As stated, everything has clips. Just use a trim removal tool (plastic) and take your time. The hardest section to me is the long dash beacause I am always afraid I will snap the long thin accent piece as I take it off. I usually start at that side and go towards the vents.

How much was it to do all that?

Maxdobe;

RHD is right-hand drive and LHD is left-hand drive. They are the two different trim versions depending on which side your steering wheel is on.

The US is LHD (steering wheel on the left side of the vehicle).

Ahhhh, thank you. So wish it had more gloss. Like other cf parts. Anyone else agree?

Morasool, that looks beyond amazing. We have a few questions for you.

Is that the M performance interior kit (BMW part 51952230351) per the 7 pieces composed of carbon fiber with Alcantere inlay?

Where are the rest of the pieces from? Knob, etc...

Very nice. Stunning interior for any BMW fan.

Wow. Congrats Morasool. That is the ultimate interior setup. What a fantastic selection. Nothing like the feeling, mentally and physically of accessory OEM parts.

Question: Do the coloring and texture and feel of all of these parts match in shine and gloss? I read that the 7 piece M Performance Interior has very little to no gloss. Same with the other parts?

What's your next BMW OEM mod?

All the parts have a consistent textural feel. They have very little shine, I believe this differentiates them from all the fake carbon wraps.

My next mod will be the M Performance pedals.

Definitely done nice. The matte carbon is much nicer than the cheesy gloss imho. Nicely done! Personally I would like to find the matte carbon for the dash piece rather then the Alcantra. I've seen lots of gloss pieces but anyone know where to get solid matte carbon dash sans Alcantra.

Love the race wheel! Did the same for my own. I have simple horse black seats etc, not nearly as sporty as yours

Mjordan hope you are well?

I am looking at the carbon shifter and surround.... not sure I want to go for the full switch... but it is circa $798 on getbmwparts https://www.getbmwparts.com/partloca...catalogid=4462

I like the arm rest too. Another $260!
