Looking for f30 335i exhaust/help
I'm based in Canada so it is much harder to find parts at a reasonable price. After looking over a few threads on the conversion, I've decided to go through with it. I've got a 2016 328i xdrive with the m sport package. Already ordered the single tip dual outlet diffuser off of eBay. Wondering if anyone has a stock 335 or MPE for sale who would ship to Canada. Thanks guys

You can buy anything from the USA and have it shipped via USPS to avoid tax as much as possible. I used to be a middle man for friends and family to ship things to me, then I'd ship to them to save plenty money in tax and shipping fees.

AWE exhaust i find to have the best sound. I have the axle back and performance midpipe.

I had an AWE on my 128i, and it sounded good, but I was not in love with it. It is just personal preference. Now, I have an f30 335i xdrive, and I am leaning towards BORLA. They seem to have deeper tone.

Tons of places. It's a simple install. If you have the exhaust, any reputable shop can do the work since it's a welding of one pipe. Noyzboyz, GT Customs, Hot Rod Scott's. Give any a call. Personally though I wonder bother with the conversion if you aren't at least getting an MPE.

As for the conversion, I think the 335 exhaust looks and sounds better plus It's not going to cost me a lot either.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for cosmetic mods (which is essentially what this is), and I agree I like the symmetry better of the 335 exhaust. It's just that the sound difference is negligible given the cost involved, and if you're going down there anyways you might as well improve the sound significantly...

^this is something I agree with. I went this route as I went stock 328i muffler -> catless downpipe -> 335i muffler + downpipe -> 335i muffler + downpipe + removed resonator -> aftermarket muffler + downpipe + removed resonator
335i muffler on the 328i made it seem louder, but in reality sound was coming from two sides of the car instead of one. With hatless downpipes + resonator removed, the 335i muffler really woke up. Id argue this would be the case with the stock muffler as well. all in all, it would be better to grab a dual exhaust diffuser, 335/340i full catback exhaust, cut off the end of the downpipe and have it be full 3" to accommodate the 335i/340i exhaust system.
