Weird buzzing whistling noise when accelerating after changing the muffler
I have a 2014 BMW 328i xDrive with the n20 2.0 turbo and I changed the muffler on it and that was it just the muffler in the back that's all didn't mess with anything up front and it started making this weird like vibrating buzzing whistle noise and if you accelerate hard it's a really loud whistle I've replaced lots of things I put a new diverter valve on it I put a new charge pipe on it on cold side I put a new base gate actuator on it a new downpipe still doesn't change how it sounds it still has that same weird sound has anybody had anything like this at all

Well the muffler can only be installed one way and I don't think it can really be faulty negate is almost just a straight through design. Do you think the muffler being so free flowing that it could cause the noise.

All those things could have a leak. Time to recheck all your work.
