What did you do to your F3X today?

Installed quad awe touring exhaust black tips on my f32 with catless er, stock midpipe, the awe mid pipe should be shipping soon.
Added with bootmod3 medium to aggressive settings is music to my ears

Washed it and tried Rejex on it. Looks good so far. I forgot to debadge it. I will do that when I tint the windows. Haven’t decided what % to try. I have always done 35% all around on my last four cars. I’m thinking something darker this time around.

A forum member posted a link where someone had made up a hook to do it with so I followed suit and made my own.

Swapped out the chrome grill with black gloss. Did the method with the bolts on the top. Aside from it kind of hurting your arm being shoved behind the bumper, it's really easy to do. Took maybe 10 minutes to do both sides

I was going to make a tool too. But then I thought of trying and unclipping the grill by hand/liked to be able feel the pressure and not risk breaking tabs/clips. Started with a warn radiator to keep the plastic flexible and just used my fingers. I started from the side clip in the middle of the grill towards the headlight-pushed it "right" as I pulled the grill out a bit. Once this one unclipped I gained more understanding/confidence and continued on with the three clips on top - push/pull kind of a move. Then did the other side clip in the middle and then the bottom clips. The whole swap took a whole 15 min because I wanted to clean the "nostrils" prior to installing the new grills. No tools needed and surprisingly, no skin penalty either

I've heard: Do 35% on the sides, and then 20% in the rear window.

I'm not sure how strict your window tint laws are, but in my area of California right around 50% is the line where cops tend to leave you alone for driver/passenger window tints. If there isn't a law I would go closer to the 35% like others are recommending

It's a DIY write up that could help a lot of people.

You should create a new thread to your oil change blog so somebody could search it, instead of it being buried in a thread with more than 2800 posts.

My tint guy is doing it tomorrow. 35% on the sides, 20% on the rear. He kept asking if I wanted 70% on the front. Ohio law is 50% on the front windows and none on the windshield. In the last fifteen years and four cars with 35% all around, the popo has never stopped me for tint.
Come to think of it, I can’t remember anyone in my area stopping anyone for tint anymore. Way too many people doing other stuff to get stopped for.

I have 35 all round, not really that dark. How would a cop even know! I think they would have to bring it in and they are unlikely to do that. And if you get pulled over just drop the windows anyway, make the cop feel safer and then they are hidden. Mine are legal in PA thankfully but came on the car CPO'd from Nevada.

Put the 437m reps on today. I'll get some more pics up tomorrow but here's how she sits now. 19x8.5 et35 19x9.5 et40 wrapped in 245/35 and 275/30.

I love it, just needs some low now.
