Since it's a street car, I'd go with CSF.

Wagner's major benefit is the tube and fin core optimal for track use.
Thanks for the quick reply.
I had read multiple threads on intercoolers, several in here and found lots of great information here. I even thought about the ATM, but since it falls into to the tune/fin catagory as the Wagner I looked at it since it’s easier to get.

My mistake on the ATM, thought I had read it was tube/fin.

I swear the CSF 8115 core dimensions must be a NASA level secret, can find it anywhere. LoL.

No wonder they don't post it, probably would steer some people away.

Do you think that will be enough on a N26 FBO Stage 2 tune?

Everyone keeps telling me I need to go bigger.

There are lots of options with different pros and cons, and as you can see from this thread everyone has their favorite.

to answer your question, the CSF is enough for N26 FBO stage 2

Not sure if this is an intercooler design issue or a boost pipe issue.
Running into an issue that is keeping me from finishing my CSF 8115B intercooler and FTP SG71335F hard pipe installation on my 2016 428i F32 N26.
Every site I check shows this to be correct pipe kit for my car when I enter the car specs, but obviously something is wrong here.
The hard pipe that goes from the turbo to the intercooler will not line up with the turbo.
The turbo outlet pipe is not matching up with turbo outlet. It's too long and/or the wrong angle, putting the pipe above the turbo outlet by a good bit, it's actually almost touching the EWG which sits above the turbo housing.
The first image shows how far apart the pipe is vs the turbo outlet. The turbo outlet is in the LH lower part of the picture, the boost pipe inlet is in the RH upper part of the picture. Pipe is fully seated at the intercooler.
I can't tighten up the intercooler retaining screws any further. If I tighten them up all the way the pipe will probably break the EWG.
Has anybody run across this? What is the fix?

Thanks in advance.

Boost pipes dont line up with all intercoolers, unlike the charge pipe.

Given that the stock boost pipe is not prone to failure, i recommend keeping it

CSF and the ATM intercooler the boost pipe doesn’t fit. It fits on the n55, but not n20.

So when CSF Cooling claims the 8115 intercooler is a “Drop-in Fit” Design for an Easy & Quick Plug-and-Play Installation – Complete with OEM-Style “Quick Connect” Inlet/Outlet Connections" for F32 N20/N26 cars, they neglect to say the boost pipe will not work?
Doesn't seem to be a "direct drop-in replacement" to me. The F32 N20 is in their Fitment Guide for the 8115.

Idk man you tell me. I own an ATM and an evolution raceworks intercooler. Stock boost pipe was on the car because the FTP AND evolution raceworks pipe would be too high to the turbo inlet side pipe by 2” or so.
I’m telling you regardless of what the documents say the CSF intercooler and aftermarket boost pipes don’t fit.

CSF Copied ATM and ATM has a full disclosure some boost pipes fit and some don’t.

It will fit perfectly with the stock boost pipe, which is what CSF claims. they never say it will fit with every other aftermarket boost pipe.

To be fair, this is not a CSF-specific issue, most aftermarket intercoolers will not fit with all aftermarket boost pipe.

Given that the intercooler is the more important upgrade, i would not choose my FMIC bas on my boost pipe, i'd rather keep the boost pipe stock and get the best intercooler

I understand, it's just very frustrating when you do the research to make sure everything you're ordering fits your car per the manufactures claims, then upon execution, it's problem after problem,.... after problem.
Thank you everyone who's responded to my questions along the way.
