You obviously didn't do any research before getting the down pipe. LOL

Just make sure you don't accidentally swap the CAN wires or purchase for the wrong series.

1.You can buy a CEL-FIX : ~20 us$
or
2. Use the JB4 tune : ~600us$

I must admit you made a bad decision mounting the pipe without checking the side effects, but F that and get on with one of the above.
I you mounted the dp only for the sound then go for the CEL-FIX.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES take it to the dealer with downpipes in it, asking about why it gave you a code.

They will void warranty, the code is obviously 02 sensors based, nothing to worry about. Just get a jB4 to auto clear the codes.

You can go to the dealer with downpipes. I did it all the time with the X5M. Just don't draw attention to the mods, especially ones like catless downpipes which are 100% illegal.

They will make a note of those downpipes 99%, and once something huge fails i.e. transmission/ engine then dont expect to be covered under warranty.

Depends on the dealer. I'm tight with my dealer. They were they ones that told me about Burger initially and even offered to install my piggyback. They're mod friendly for the most part, and covered everything, even with the downpipes (catted) and piggyback installed.

Other dealers may not be so mod friendly and may make a big deal out of it.

Just remember, the law is on your side (Magnusson Moss Act), as long as you stay legal. They have to prove your mods directly caused a problem before they can refuse warranty coverage. You break the law and remove emissions equipment, all bets are off. You've broken Federal law and nothing can save you.

Are there any good hi flo cat downpipes?

I had installed the metal matrix ones on my LSx cars in the past.

I was looking at the cp-e one. Trying to get info on if it has the 4" flange for our cars or the 3.5" one for the older cars.
