Yes, this is to be expected. You have replaced OEM screen with SD625... no wonder ISTA-D can't find OEM screen anymore.

Indeed. It’s also disrupting the link between the OEM headunit and screen multiple times, especially when switching between Android and PDC/OEM headunit functions.

Thanks RedErik, I suspected it was as you say, but I wanted confirmation. I ran the diagnostics because this latest sd625 1920x720 (I had one before this always fhd and also a couple of px6 and a px3) gave me problems in the connection, it gave me back the black screen with written no signal. I had to change several times and different resolution settings in the headunit ECU, but each time, it initially gave me "no signal" bmw side. turning off the car and waiting for the famous minutes of the general shutdown and turning on again the screen starts, even if with a delay and in fact it turns on directly in the menu, skipping the start screen that I cannot see. The android factory settings seem correct. Maybe there is still something wrong, but I don't understand what.

Sometimes is as trivial as loose connection and sometimes this could be MCU related issue as well. It's hard to tell what's happening there. Make sure all your connections are firm and that you are on the latest firmware available.

The DAC is a Sabrent. The sound remains on reboot but is always very low.

The Android volume always stays at the maximum 100/100, but loses at least 30% of the normal volume, the microphone works very well. So I ask if there is any way to increase the output volume of the DAC.

Have you checked the loudness via headphones ?
The Sarabent normally do not really loose loudness, maybe some other Aux option of your car is lowering the loudness ?
You can also check with the "Equalizer" app to pull all sliders to maximum to gain a little bit more volume.

Unfortunateley there is no hungarian language support yet.
Maybe you could ask your seller if he would implement a translation if you provide the strings to him ?

other workaround would be using kswoverlay tool and translate the strings of the english "values" to hungarian, then at least you could have it as workaround.

Yes sure. I reviewed the wiring, clearly without testing it with a multimeter because the device works fine. Only the video appears with a few seconds delay, so much so that the start screen is lost. however the audio is immediate. I wrote to the seller and he will give me an answer in the week. The device arrived with 1.8.5. You say updating it to 2.0 will fix the problem?

You can try updating to 2.0 but I'm not sure if this is going to fix your issue, no harm it trying though. What I think is what you should look into is the MCU update (if available for your unit).

You're right, a larger screen can be too big. But when it comes to keyboard on a big screen, i just found out by accident a few weeks ago that the built-in keyboard can be floating. And can be moved around. Far more practical this way. Still looking forward to try your keyboard, though.

The same happend to me with a ugode CarPlay dongle. Someone from xda mentioned that they issued the firmware to brick counterfeit devices.

Which CarPlay adapter do you have? From which supplier?

Can anyone confirm that navifly Android 10 built in CarPlay works after latest firmware update issued 2 days ago?

Hi mate. The bug that used to cause a bootloop when using netflix, has been fixed since update 1.8.4, so you're free to install the app, as long as you update your headunit to version 1.8.4 or higher (links can be found at the first page)

I was able to successfully update from Android 9 to 10 with the help of posts from this forum. It went smoothly, apart from having to reformat the thumb drive from 1.2 to 2.0. All my settings were saved which I wasn't expecting!

I use Zlink for wireless carplay. It works well and there are a few more settings I can play with within the app, although the couple I have toggled around with hasn't seemed to do anything.

One big issue is keeping this from being near perfect - the carplay connection uses the android unit's hotspot. This prevents cellular data from working so Maps, Spotify, etc are useless. I have checked phone settings to allow cellular data, but can't get it to stick. Occasionally I receive a phone prompt that says 'theres no internet on this wifi, do you want to use cellular?". That will fix it, but it won't remember next time and I can't figure out how to get the prompt. Thoughts? I suspect it's an iOS 14 issue..

One more question for the thread - I'd like to have Zlink app launch automatically after the phone connects to Android BT. I can't seem to figure this out using Tasker! What am I missing? There was no option for 'BT state = connected' or something like that.
