Yeah sounds like they want your stock cats lmao. It's California too, so every other year when your smog is due, youre shit out of luck and no way to work around the SMOG readiness.

There's a local shop that does this in Miami. But emissions aren't required in Florida so it doesn't matter. Usually swapping the stock for a catless vrsf + install.

ya lmao its a scam well kinda, I buy oem downpipes to refine and people that fall for this, get duped usually. you can get a lot more selling it to a refiner than doing this, especially would not do this in california with smog bs. I've had people I know swap oem b58 downpipes worth between 700-1200 for 200/250 dollar catless downpipes and half an hour of labor...

Better yet, pay for the $100-150 to install aftermarket DP. Sell your stock DP for 800-1400.... net 700-1300 in profit after paying for install.
