BTW how big is that JL audio Sub. did you have to buy that seperately or did it come with the enclosure

I am running a 12 inch JL but i have to remove it in advance whenever i think i need the boot space.

w00t!

Here's another pic.
Wow, I love what you have done with your car! Pretty neat.
I am planning to pick up a front diffuser and black grill as well. May I ask where your sourced yours from? Were they genuine parts? and how much the installation was?

Thanks in advance.
Thanks mate.

Both parts came from Mars Performance. So did the rear spoiler and rear diffuser.

The spoiler, diffuser, and splitter came unpainted. I had it all fitted at Rencal Motors and they had the rear spoiler and the two upper parts of the front splitter painted for me.

Total cost for paint and installation was $500.

The grilles came pre-finished and I installed them myself in about 10 minutes.
Oh cool. Yeah I was looking at installing the grill myself too. What was the quality on Mars products like? Not too sure whether I should pay little more for an OEM part or the replica part if the fit and quality is on par.

Paint Protection

I did my research on Opti Coat and Ceramic Pro etc but ended up going with a product called C.Quartz Finest by CarPro.

http://cquartz.com/cquartz-finest/

My major reason for this, other than the quality of the product, is because of the amount of training and support that they provide to their licensed Detailers. I have read and heard some not so great stories about Opti Coat in particular - not about the product but about some of the detailers applying it and their lack of knowledge/experience.

CarPro, on the other hand, require their detailers to know their shit.

Also, I did not like the process that Opti Coat require their detailers to perform every 12 months in order to maintain your warranty on the product.

Went to a place at Capalaba called Waves Detail Pro - http://www.wavesdetailpro.com.au/

Dan, Troy, Rory, and the guys at Waves are consummate professionals with second-to-none training and amazing attention to detail.

I cannot recommend them highly enough.

If you're after anything from a simple wash to paint correction or protection give them a call and tell them I sent you (nothing in it for me) and they'll look after you.

They worked a 13 hour day to allow me to have my car back same day.

They also have a mobile service which, after seeing how they looked after my car, I will be using from now on if I need to.

Here's some of the process (Infrared Curing Lamps and all) and another shot of the results...

Not excited much are you ?

Will changing the springs affect the dynamic suspension in any other way apart from making the car lower to the ground and that "GAP" smaller?

Not the ones I've gone with. The Sport are safe to use with adaptive suspension. The Supersport will make it throw codes.

They still have progressive compression so should be pretty much the same ride.

H&R Sport Springs + M4 Side Blades

Thanks to Stu @ BMR for being a legend as always with amazing prices and service and Rencal for their usual impeccable work.

It's still settling a bit at the front. Expect it to go a little lower over the next few days...

Car looks great!

Regarding the fog light delete could you kindly share:
- part numbers for replacement mesh grill after you remove the fog lights
- what you did to remove the error code
- easiest method to remove the fogs

Thank you!

I'll have to find the part numbers. I ordered those bits before I even took delivery of the car.

Lights are still connected so no errors and no coding required. They are tucked up safely in behind the bumper - secured in a place where they don't get any heat from the engine.

Easiest way is to take it to a mechanic you trust and let them do it. Mate of mine did his own and he took off the bumper. My mechanic put it up on a hoist, remove the front wheels, and did it all with the bumper still on the car.

Will PM you. Not my place to post the member's name if he has chosen not to announce it himself. Also, could be a violation of the forum rules...
