All though MHD recommends stock plugs and gap as well. However running the more aggressive timing 95 octane tune I figured why not splurge on the 1 step colder NGKs.
Where do you find them for $3/plug???

They are around $13/plug from RockAuto.
Was meant to say $3 and change extra per plug over the Bosch. I apologize for any confusion. I will do my best not to have this same problem come up in the future, and thank you.

Above were logs on Shell 93. Here are the logs on BP 93 with 4 ounces of Boostane Premium. I was struggling for traction in 2nd so only got one log feathering throttle. Do these look better? Did the boostane help?

Those look good, the timing is clean on 3rd Gear 1, on 3rd Gear 2 the #3 cylinder is behind but catches up at higher RPM. I'd say the boostane fixed the timing up. If you're going to run boostane going forward I recommend getting the professional to save some money per can.

Anyone know why EWG maps are at 6.1 and PWG maps are at 7.1? Is it just because of the hardware differences?

They're considered completely different platforms so it's unlikely their versions will match up. I think it's a coincidence that they both happen to be on an .1 version. Maybe the PWG maps released first or required more patching. Who knows. It's just a version number.

For example, the N55 in the M2 is "only" on version 5.5. It doesn't mean anything.

Are the E30 maps based on octane? Based on an online calculator, e30 is about 96 octane. Could I run an e30 map if I added boostane to get 98 octane?

please excuse my ignorance but i cant find a definitive answer on this and they dont seem to list out the OTS maps unless you buy from them. In the event the stage 2 will not work for me, is stage 1 worth it from those that have used it?
Anyone able to help out with this or is it best to just email PTF?

I was in the exact same boat. Some people say you can proceed cautiously while others recommend against it.

I currently run an FMIC and CP but no DP and have stayed on Stage 1 91 (I'm in CA). Others have tried Stage 2 with no mods at all but I doubt anyone would do so long term.

You can email PTF, and if they even get back to you, they'd just point you to their recommendations anyway.

I think the best option for us is to eventually get a custom tune. We probably fit in somewhere between Stage 1 and Stage 2 but probably closer to Stage 1. It'd be nice if PTF released a Stage 1+ for people with FMIC. I feel like a lot of people prefer not to install a catless DP.

Octane and fuel trim. Ethanol rich fuels have less power density so requires more fuel.

Custom Meth tune - 415awhp/492awtq
Custom 93 tune - 370awhp/467awtq
OTS 93 tune - 370awhp/399awtq
Stock flash - 295awhp/290awtq

JordanTuned

2014 335i XDrive
AFE drop in filter
ER charge pipe
Wagner Comp Evo 2 IC
ER catless downpipe
TorqByte CM5LT/5gph nozzle/100% meth

Slight misfire on the 93 tune with OEM plugs at OEM gap. Power was dialed back from the 390ish area on the 93 tune due to misfiring. Swapped to NGK gapped to .020, misfires cleaned up a bit, but still slightly present up top around 6k. Misfires were non existent on the meth tune. Cary thinks I need new coils as they have 45k on them. Keep in mind both tunes are not quite done yet due to the coil issue. I will have to swap them and we can resume this coming spring when the snow disappears and I am back from traveling for work. We should see quite an improvement in the top end. Nothing that can’t be finished on the street and another quick dyno session.

First and second gear are currently useless until I get some better rubber. I highly recommend a custom tune over OTS. My car would’ve probably made more power with the AWE catback I used to have on it, but the exhaust was so damn loud I couldn’t take it anymore...

I’ll post a graph tomorrow when I get it.

You can try Wagner Catted DP. Never had a CEL or problems with emissions with that DP. Highly recommended.

You can technically run stage 2 with stock DP, but not really recommended.

When running e30, how do you guys manage to keep the ethanol content consistently at/around 30% after multiple fill ups? I feel like it's a big guessing game since you don't really know how much fuel is in your tank.. ?? I have a e85 station about 6 miles away which is why I ask.
