Very nice! and close to where I want to get to as well!
Could you do me a favour and take another shot of the side decals that shows the bottom edge clearly? I'm in two minds as to whether I can/should apply decals with /without the side skirts. TBH I'm not sure I want to pay for the side skirts and would be great to see how she looks just with the decals. I also noticed you're not going to put on the "Mperformance" lettering on the sides? Is everything OEM, or did you get any aftermarket parts? |

In terms of installation, I did it myself. The biggest tip, wet both surfaces car and decal with water (drop of detergent). It slides around and falls in place. Then start from the middle with a squeegee and work your way out. I would say its easy to install. Yeah I left out the M Performance lettering on purpose. The rear diffuser and grills are OEM. Front splitter is not. The decals I got from a seller from the UK, not sure if it was OEM but it was cheaper than BMW. Last edited by x328x; 12-15-2014 at 09:01 PM.. |

It's a bit hard to say because I traded in my car. I would say 72 k drive away 4 years free servicing. My advice, go towards the end of the month because the dealers may have quotas i.e. if they hit a certain number bmw Australia give rebates to the dealer. So they are desperate during those times and willing to deal. These incentives might not be there every month, but it was when I was looking and it helped

just installed the trim. Connectors can be a little tricky to pull out. But overall quite an easy install
Havent connected the ambient lighting yet. Still need to source the connectors from the dealer |

Very nice the gloss black ac trim definitely looks a lot better than the dull plastic one.
I bought the gloss a/c trim for my car as well, how do you separate the A/C and CD controls from the old trim? I've taken mine apart but struggled to transfer the controls over to the new trim so I just put the dull plastic one back on |

So start with the CD controls. U will see about four or five tabs. Use a small flat screw driver and lift the tab and push. It should pop out a mm or two. Start from one side and work your way down. Now take a look down the bottom of the CD control unit and you will see some clips. Use a flat head to pop them open and push the unit and the bottom should start popping out. Once u get the CD control unit out, the AC unit comes out the same way. Hope that helps |
