1M direct injection?
BMWUSA shows the 1M as being direct injection.
The N54 in the 135 was/is not direct injection, is that correct? Is the N55 direct injection? How about the "is" cars? |

Both the N54 and N55 are directly injected- just ask anyone who's had to replace an HPFP.

Hence why the somewhat of a misnomer BMW gave the N55 cars of being "Twin Power Turbo". Makes you think there are two turbos, but what they mean is: 1. Turbo 2. DI. This referes to the 'twin power', not to whether a car has two turbos, or a twin-scroll single turbo.
So by that logic, should the N54 be "Tri Power Turbo" - 1. Turbo #1, 2. Turbo #2, 3. DI.
