Remove S843A option from 420D 2016
Hey Ya'll,
Need some assistance with removing the S843A option from my engine. For those unfamiliar it is the code for power reduction option, in my case from 190 hp to 163 hp. There is a great post here by Jimmert in which he describes how to DIY. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1771792 Me beinge me and sucking at everything IT, didnt want to risk ending up with a 2 ton paper weight on wheels, so I am here asking for help. Is there anyone in Belgium or surrounding countries (netherlands, germany, switzerland, luxembourg, france) that knows and is willing to code that for me ? Or someone further away that can remote code it? or maybe guide me step by step how to do it through a video call chat? Thanks ya'll, appreciate it. |

Use bimmergeeks protools.
It’s super simple and will auto detect what modules need to be coded. It can VO code the car. I used it to code my 6WB gauge cluster very easily as well as code out TPMS. https://www.bimmergeeks.net/protool |

Join their Facebook page and ask.
You probably have a higher chance of success going this route than any other. https://m.facebook.com/groups/Bimmer...H2jPCkA-8iYpls |

In the end did you manage to remove this code, or found someone around who could help you? Have the same power reduction in my Belgian 320i, and would appreciate to hear if you could fix this ![]() |
